Von Matt Hospitality Group (VMHG) is a
family-owned company with several restaurant concepts in their portfolio. It was founded in 2013 in Zurich, Switzerland and is owned by Thomas and Kirtanya von Matt, a husband and wife duo. They specialize in high quality American-style food concepts, working with fresh & local ingredients. Both Thomas and Kirtanya each come with over twenty years of experience working in hopsitality, and their philosophy is simple: great food and good vibes. It’s the only thing you need.
Opened in 2013. The Bite is the first restaurant under the VMHG belt and has become a cult favourite in amongst the burger lovers of Switzerland. Voted Best Burger in Zürich 2023.

Opened in 2015. Brisket is Switzerland's very first Southern BBQ Restaurant, located in Zurich's Kreis 5 area. We specialize in authentic Texan BBQ and use a smoker that was custom-built and imported from Mesquite, TX. In May 2022 we opened a spinoff of Brisket in Freiruum (Zug), which is an incredibly lively food hall.

Opened in 2017. Fried Chicken is the name and a simply delicious, extra-crispy product is the game! At Yardbird we offer double-fried buttermilk crusted chicken, a speciality from Atlanta. With our OG restaurant on Weststrasse, and our "soon-to-be" opened location at Zurich Hauptbanhof, we look forward to growing and expanding Yardbird to your local city in the near future! Opened in 2019. LA Brea is a Southern Californian Taco restaurant that's inspired by the streets of L.A. You'll find authentic Mexican recipes prepared with a slightly modern, unconventional twist. Most important thing? The tacos are fresh, unique and mouth-watering
